
The Friends of Mineralogy Colorado Chapter is pleased to announce that our symposium will be returning in 2026 from June 11th – 15th, at Colorado School of Mines in Golden, Colorado. The symposium theme will be “Colorado 150: Celebrating 150 Years of Colorado Statehood”
This event will celebrate the 150th anniversary of Colorado statehood with a weekend of field trips, workshops, and presentations pertaining to Colorado mineralogy. All who are interested in minerals and mineralogy are welcome to attend.

*At this time, only general symposium registration is open. Field trips and workshops will be announced by late winter/early spring 2026. Those who have already registered here for the symposium will be given the first opportunity to register for field trips and workshops as they are announced.

– June 11 = Field Trips (TBA)
– June 12 = Field Trips, Workshops (TBA); Evening opening reception with auction at the Mines Museum of Earth Science
– June 13 (all day) – June 14 (morning) = Symposium Presentations
– June 14 (afternoon) = Colorado Micromineral Summit
– June 15 = Field Trips (TBA)
